Update on my life!

“For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.”
(Romans 11:36)

My dear Friends and Family!!!!

I know it’s been way too long since I wrote an update on what is going on in my life…what God is doing in my heart!! Soo much…

As all of you know I got back from Nigeria on the 27th of August. It took me at least a month before I could say I’m back…not completely, but able to function without thinking about Jikwoyi and all the people I left behind in Nigeria. Everyone told me I have changed and I’m not the same… God did a lot in me through that 2 months, so I was not surprised. But I didn’t think it would take that long to “get back” here. Slowly I let it happen. I allowed the Lord to use me here as He wants, and not to fight against His will. I figured out that He had a good reason to bring me back.

He gave me a promise for taking me back to my beloved Nigeria… He forgot to tell me when. J He is good like that sometimes. My heart calmed down since then, but the fire and the burden for the people of Nigeria still burns in me and makes me cry few times a week for them. If I just think of how they are starving for days sometimes… and we throw away food daily… My heart cries over and over again. I know the Lord gave me this burden. He calls me to go down there and love, care for His children. I know it’s not from me… I don’t think Nigeria is the country I would choose for myself to live in for any longer period of time of my life, but I want to be obedient and I want to serve Him as He asks me to. I know it won’t be easy and I will have time (as I had many times here in Vajta) when the only thing I can do is to remember that HE called me to do this and it wasn’t my own desire. I learned to do it here. I had many times when I wanted to give up, but God reminded me how HE brought me here, and in the same way He will show the time and the way to move on. SO I think the time is soon, only He knows how soon, but I hope and pray for January or February of 2009. I know it’s very soon. I have only a few months left here and have to do sooo much if that happens.

This last week we had a special week we call “speakers week”. We had Heather Mercer (missionary in Iraq), Kurt Kula (missionary in Poland) and Allen Rigg (pastor in Texas) as guest speakers and we held 3 sessions a day. I had the privilege to translate pastor Kurt who has served with his family in Poland for over 16 years now. (I think you can still download the teachings from the school website - www.ccbce.com, under speakers week). It was sooo good to see how the Lord put the whole week together. All the teachings were built upon each other but the teachers did not get any guidelines nor topics for the week. I love to see God’s Spirit moving in such a powerful way. The main themes were trust, faith, overcome fear and the love of God!!! I was so blessed. I don’t think I remember of any speakers week when God spoke to my heart at every session. He reminded me that He holds everything in His hands, He is faithful and nothing is impossible for Him. (Gen. 18:14. In Hungarian translation) As Abram was the only one in the whole Bible called as friend of God by God, He wants me to be His friend. And as Abraham did put all his faith and trust in HIM, He wants me to put all my trust in Him not questioning Him nor doubting Him. His hands are not too short to save, and to comfort. He knows all my fears, abilities and shortcomings I have and still He is the One who calls me to serve Him in a place I don’t think I have the strength, wisdom, abilities or courage to do so. BUT… He has and He wants me to depend completely on Him and His strength, His wisdom, His abilities, His power and His grace. So I try to do so daily… But I have to make a choice every morning that I will listen to Him and obey all He asks me or to that other voice which tries to destroy all God already did in my life.

Kurt had an example about being obedient. How one little choice I make can change the whole history. God does not need us but He wants to use us!! What a privilege my friends!!! One smile, one touch, few encouraging words can change soo much. It can change someone’s life and through that down the road after years can change whole nations!! So many times we don’t know how we effect others. I don’t know what God holds for me in Nigeria, but I know it is good because He is good! So please pray for my heart and for His perfect provision for me to be able to move there in His perfect timing.

Please pray for:
- have an open, sensitive heart for His Spirit’s leading!
- being available for Him as I serve Him daily!
- wisdom and strength while serving Him!
- God to prepare my heart for all He has for me, and He wants to use me for there
- my family that it would not be too hard on them and that they would understand why I’m doing this… especially for those who don’t know the Lord, that it would be something God would use to open their eyes!!!
- me to not to be anxious but able to wait for His perfect timing on everything!
- for His provision for moving down to Nigeria (churches or people who would support me, plane ticket, visas, finances to start life there)

Thank you sooo much for all your love, care, encouragements and support through these years I serve Him.

May He bless you in all you do for Him and keep you in His perfect will for your lives!
May all the glory be His!!!!!

Love in Him

Agi

Ps: If God leads you to support me in any way, please contact me for further information. Thanks!

God can use ANYTHING!!!!!!!

Some of you may remember that few years ago, I went to Kyrgyzstan for a outreach. I have a habit, wherever I go - and I have a chance - I buy a pair of earrings as a souvenir. They are small enough, if I have to move anywhere in the future I can take them with me, and don`t have to leave them behind... So on that trip I bought a pair of little simple earrings.
This past February I had to go to Szekesfehervar and do some official stuff for the school. We went to the TAX office with the girls. We had to wait for some work be down, so it was only us and few people left there because of the lunch break.
We had to use the restroom, and while I was waiting for the girls a lady turned to me. I never saw her before. She liked my earrings, and wanted to know where did I get them... Good question... Kyrgyzstan... Usually its not a place what any Hungarian knows to much about! So it caught her attention and we started a whole conversation about why did I go there, what mission trip means, what am I do then for living... I just shared basic facts of my live with her, and she thought it`s interesting... So she introduced herself to me. I found out she is a journalist for one of the biggest newspapers in Hungary. She asked for my phone# and told me she may call me, if that's OK with me and do and interview about my life! I gave my # to her, and thought that she won`t even have to leave that building and she won`t remember me... Because time passed by it seemed I was right... I did not even think about the whole situation anymore... BUT after a month or so I got a phone call... She asked me if I remember her, and is my offer still up for the interview or not! I was surprised, but said yes to her... and on the same weekend she was here in Vajta. I was really nervous about the whole thing, but God comforted me and kept telling me that is all about Him and He will give me the words.... And He did... We had an hour talk with her and the whole time every question she had went back to God and I could share the Gospel with her and many of those testimonies He done in my life!! She had to hurry, but the article she did on me got published like 2 weeks later... I was really surprised, because she did not cut out God of it, but started and finished the whole article with HIM. I was glad, but just could pray that the Lord will use this in her life to save her!!! She wrote me little later and told me that our talk effected her so much, and she is thinking of it a lot!!! So I promised her that when I got back from Nigeria I will call her and we can meet again and listen to all God done through the summer in and through me!!! After that I have not heard so much from her, but was praying for her.... While I was in Nigeria, I got an e-mail from her that she is praying for me!!!!! I was surprised and knew I have to see her after I got back!!! That happened yesterday!!! She came with her daughter and we had a great time!! All the girls at the office and few friends of mine were praying for her salvation!!! After more than 1,5 hours of I talking, she wanted to tell me something as well!! She shared with me that after the interview she could not let those things go I told her. She got a book from her Mom which was all about JESUS. While she was reading it she remembered the things I shared about my life and how the only way worth to live is for and by Jesus!!! She realized that for her whole life she prayed to the wrong person... She gave her life to the Lord and now she feels: "I`m in love with Jesus".... I`m too!!! I love Him sooo much and can`t believe how He can use the smallest things in our lives to save others!! We just have to be open and willing to be used by Him...for His glory!!! He is sooooo faithful to do the rest, all the talk, the situations, preparing the others heart... He wants us to be ready... always... available for Him!! He wants to use all of us, and have this kind of stories to share with others!!
So we have a new sister in the Lord and I can`t do anything just praise Him for her!!!
May the Lord bless you and use you for His glory!!!
Love you all!

Slovenia weekend

Hey Everyone!!!

I hope you are all doing well and enjoying God`s blessings in your lifes! He is faithful and good, even in those days when we don't feel that way. He loves us so much and wants the best for us!

This past weekend that best thing was that He blessed me with a great time with Him and 4 ladies to take us to Slovenia. The main reason we went was Erin Mauldin and Justin Gerry's wedding. It was one of those breath-taking...God's presence is senceable one... I enjoyed it so much. They were simply beautiful and shinning God's love. Glowing and created for each other.

So we took off friday after lunch and drove down to Slovenia. Normally it takes 4,5 hours... for us it was extra 2 because God decided to save our lifes and let us be used by Him a little more on this earth. After we passed the border - that is no longer there because of the EU- we had to stop for the "00" (bathroom- for those of you who never been there, this is how they sign bathrooms). We got to the road... we wanted to, when we heard this crazy noise -metal on metal screaming. So we pulled back and noticed that the break pad stocked. No one spoke english, but we got some directions for the closest service... and from there the next one where they repaired the tire... we found out that it was so loose that any time could take off and pass us on the highway if is not fixed... So God protected us from dying. We had a mall next to the service and a store to buy some food. It was really a miracle. God always knows the best for us. We got there and stayed with Ales and Withney Lajlar. They were a huge blessing to us!!

Sutarday morning we went for a beautiful walk for like an hour, and took off for the wedding. The drive itself was beautiful and when we got to the hotel where the wedding was held, I was just in awe before God`s greatness. It was breath-taking. The wedding was beautiful and God`s presence was sensable the whole time. Everyone had fun. To see them to radiate God`s love, and see the tesimony of His faithfulness through their lifes... it blessed me so much! I had a great time.

Sunday, before we took our way home diceded to go and see this national park like an hour away from Celje... The day before I thought I saw the most beautiful thing... I was wrong... this place was like those postcards you think are not real... And we were on them. It was so good to see God`s greatness and might. He is soooo big.... and His love is even bigger than those mountains we saw. His peace and joy overflew my heart and I could not do anything else but praise Him for my life and all He has for me.... When we think there can`t be more, can`t be more beautiful... He can surprise us!

So it was a great time, and I`m thankful for every minute of it... even for those ones which were harder.... He uses everything for good!!! Everything!!! He just wants us to trust Him!!!

Be blessed and enjoy His blessings.... Trust Him and never give up, or give in for any less than He has for you!!! He knows the best!
